"Okie" Chili


1 lb. ground beef, turkey, chicken, or venison.
1 Tbls. (heaping) chili seasoning. Or to taste.
1 29 oz. can pinto beans.
1 small can ortega chilies.
2 cups tomato sauce or juice.
1 cup water. Or to desired consistency.
2 Tbls. dried, chopped onions.


Brown and drain meat. Add all ingredients, simmer 20 minutes.
For spicier chili add more seasoning.

Serves 4-6.
